We'll begin at 4PM with a rum tasting and pre-show discussion with our featured artists. The Ragdale House will also be open for tours.
Bomba Con Buya will take the stage at 5PM. This dynamic Chicago-based ensemble aims to preserve and advance Bomba, Puerto Rico's oldest surviving African-rooted music and dance tradition.
An optional family-style meal in the Ragdale garden follows the show. Chef Roberto Pérez of Urban Pilón will present an enticing menu inspired by Puerto Rico and the Caribbean:
We'll close out the night with music and dance, featuring the deejay stylings of Sadie Woods.
Free parking for Ragdale Ring Performances is available in Lake Forest's Oakwood lot, on the corner of Oakwood and Deerpath. A shuttle van will run every 15 minutes from 3:30 to 8:30PM. Metra riders may meet the shuttle in the Oakwood lot.
