OVEF OW is a 4-piece rock band that formed in the spring of 2015. The band's lineup features Marites Velasquez (bass), Sarah Braunstein (drums), Kyla Denham (synth) and Nick Barnett (guitar). Over the past year, the quartet has quickly built a following in the Chicago indie-music scene around their surf and garage/punk-inspired and multi-vocalist sound. They draw influences from Sonic Youth, Sleater-Kinney, and the B-52s.

If you’re looking for the perfect accompaniment to a classic Scooby Doo haunted luau scene, please, look no further. BLEACH PARTY’s dream may be to play in a cartoon, but nothing about their performance is to be taken comically. The energetic group clashes surf and punk rock in the most personable way—heavy but not abrasive, energetic but not overkill, confident but not hardcore. Their ferocious live performance makes it impossible to stay still, their infectious riffs and lyricism make the unknown comfortable and desirable, something you not only want but need to dance to.

BABY MONEY & THE DOWN PAYMENTS is the brainchild of Chicago based songwriter Pamela Maurer. What started as a solo project has evolved into a 3-piece band based in the Windy City. Her original songs, ranging from gritty, sparse arrangements, to soulful, roof-shaking foot-stompers, are inspired by garage rockers and girl-groups of the 1960s and 1970s, soul, gospel, and traditional rhythm ‘n’ blues.
