TYRESTA is the solo music project of Chicago, Illinois-based social worker and musician Nick Turner. He started the project in 2016 in hopes to create music that would encourage both himself and others to breathe, slow down, and connect with the present moment. Nick utilizes various instruments including modular and semi-modular synthesizers in order to create emotive and engaging instrumental music.

NICK ADAMS is a Chicago-based Double bassist and producer. His compositions attempt to approach musical structures through an examination of pattern and process. To explore this Nick uses the double bass as the primary solo instrument with an accompaniment of soundscapes, drones, and found-sound motifs.

PATRICK GREGG is multi-disciplinary audio-visual artist. His work revolves around the ineffable qualities of the temporal arts-music and film particularly. His most recent work “Columns of Air” explores temporal relationships in the context of micro sonic manipulation of a set of woodwind timbres. Organic melodies played on bassoon, flute, saxophone, and clarinet are put in conversation with their digitally transformed counterparts. The resulting sound masses, streams, and objects are woven together into pieces reminiscent of a woodwind ensemble heard outside of time.
