This is an invitation to all artists to participate in Slate Arts and Performance’s exhibition, “youtubePoop”. We are seeking work that engages with or subverts the medium of the web. Primary consideration will be given to artists in Chicago and those who practice New Media Art.

The opening reception will take place on April 13, 2018, and run through May 6, 2018. We will accept submissions until Wednesday, March 28 at 11:59 PM. There is no application fee. Artists may submit up to 3 pieces, videos, sounds, etc. and all must be submitted via the google form below. Please also include title, size, and medium, as well as an artist’s statement. You may include 1 detail image per submission. Pieces may be a maximum of 6’x6’. Please note that if accepted, artists will be required to provide their own equipment/necessary components.
