WHO: Renaissance Social Services, Inc provides housing and support services for Chicago’s most vulnerable homeless residents. This past year, RSSI helped more than 600 people – veterans, families and individuals – find homes, address their mental and physical health issues, and reintegrate into their communities. We prevented 180 families from becoming homeless and served more than 65 veterans through our Rapid Rehousing and Case Management Services programs. This year, RSSI has the rare opportunity to significantly reduce family homelessness in Chicago. We’ve received a $1.4M grant to provide housing and supportive services for families with young children.
